DEVELOPING: Man Falls From Crane Near Yamato and Lyons

UPDATE: 2:30p from Palm Beach County Fire Rescue: At 2pm crews responded to reports of a construction accident near Lakeridge Blvd and Yamato Road. First arriving crews reported a person falling approximately 30 feet from the bucket of a crane truck. The patient, an adult male, was transported to a local area hospital for treatment of injuries.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Fire Rescue is on the scene this hour of what is being described as a construction accident. A man has apparently fallen from a crane in the area of Lakeridge Blvd., and Yamato Road. Lakeridge is near Lyons Road.

Expect traffic and detours in the area as rescuers assess the situation and render aid.
