BOCA RATON, FL ( — The Twittersphere has been buzzing with tweets of a boat that fell off a trailer on Palmetto Park Road earlier this afternoon.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office — always quick to acknowledge traffic and other incidents (we don’t charge more for sarcasm) — issued a media advisory at 2:19p for the accident that happened at 12:48p.

Time:           12:48 pm

Location:     Palmetto Park Road and Toledo Road

Deputies responded to a vehicle crash involving cars and a boat that slipped from its trailer, all in the roadway.

Currently, the eastbound lanes of Palmetto Park Road are being redirected from Toledo Road to St. Andrews until the crash investigation is complete and all vehicles are moved out of the roadway.
