POSSIBLE ABDUCTION ATTEMPT NEAR VERDE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (From Boca Raton Police) — Detectives from the Boca Raton Police Services Department are investigating a suspicious incident reported Thursday, May 21, 2015.  An 11 year old juvenile from Verde Elementary was walking home from school at approximately 2:30 pm, heading west on Verde Trail, when he said he was approached by a man driving an SUV.  The juvenile said the driver asked if he wanted to play with his son who was in the back seat and also offered him candy if he did. The student refused and walked away.

The subject driving the vehicle is described as a white male, 35-40 years of age, “stubble” on his face, wearing a black shirt and a silver watch on his left wrist. The vehicle is described as a light colored SUV, unknown make, with rust in the area of the rear driver’s side wheel well.
