BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Florida Atlantic University confirms to BocaNewsNow.com that Samantha Fox is an assistant lab manager at the school. Fox was charged by Boca Raton Police over the weekend with possession of cocaine and drug equipment. She was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail and later released on $3,000 bond.

It is unclear if her role in FAU’s lab — or access to a lab —  plays in role in her arrest, or if school policy prohibits someone facing drug charges to be around potentially dangerous substances and materials in a laboratory.

A hearing date is pending in Palm Beach County.
