BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Don’t flee the cops. We’ve said it before. We’ll say it again. Don’t flee the cops. It works in TV shows. It doesn’t work in real life.

Case in point: Joshua Omar Gowar. The 28 year old was stopped by Boca PD for DUI early this morning and then, according to arrest records, attempted to flee. He failed. Cops charged him with DUI, DUI/failure to submit to a BAC test following license suspension, and Flee/Elude Police.

Omar, of the 400 block of West Camino Real, remains in the Palm Beach County Jail early Monday afternoon in lieu of $3,000 bond.
