Early Morning Boca Greens Fire Challenges Firefighters

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — From Palm Beach County Fire Rescue: At 545am crews responded to reports of a fire on the 19000 block of Sea Pines Way. Callers stated that there was nobody home but they could see smoke.

First arriving firefighters reported flames and smoke from the roof and side of a home. Firefighters quickly entered the structure to locate the fire and performed primary searches to make sure there were no occupants inside the home.

At one point during firefighting efforts crews had to pull out of the structure due to the roof becoming unsafe.

The fire is out at this time and crews remain on location performing overhaul operations and extinguishing hot spots.

A fire investigator has been called to the location to determine the cause of the fire.
