Publix Purse Snatching Investigated in Boca

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Boca Raton police are investigating a purse snatching that happened just outside an area Publix.

From the PD:
Boca Raton, FL – On Monday, March 24 at about 7:45 p.m., Boca Raton Police officers responded to a report of a purse snatching outside of Publix, 1001 South Federal Highway.

The victim told officers that she and her daughter had just parked their car in the parking aisle on the north side of the lot and were walking towards the front of the store. Before they reached the entrance, an unknown male came up behind them and grabbed the victim’s purse from her hand. The suspect ran west on Camino Real then crossed the roadway to the Dixie Mobil, where the victim lost sight of him.

The victim went behind the Dixie Mobil and found her purse lying on the ground, with all of the contents dumped out. Her iPhone, cash, and credit cards were missing. The victim was not injured.
