SPEED TRAP! PBSO Nabbing Speeders on Glades Road

PBSO is stopping speeders en masse today on Glades Road.

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Watch your speed if you’re out and about today in West Boca. PBSO has quite a speed trap set up on Glades Road just west of 441 for traffic heading east. A motorcycle deputy is camped out behind a row of bushes on the south side of Glades. We watched as he constantly updated what looks like a mini command post roughly a quarter mile ahead.

BocaNewsNow.com observed five cars receiving tickets or citations at one point this morning. At least three deputies appear to be assigned to the ticket writing part of the detail.

This is an area known for speeders. It is near several schools, day care facilities, and the Mission Bay shopping plaza.
