Police To Teach Senior Safety In Friday Free Event

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Our area’s senior citizens are often all too easy prey for thugs, criminals, crooks, swindlers and scum buckets. Seniors often don’t realize they’re being victimized until the con or scam is over — and by that point, it’s often too late to find the culprit.

The Boca Raton Police Department’s Crime Prevention Department is hosting a Senior Safety presentation tomorrow (Friday) from 10a until 11a at the gorgeous Spanish River Library. Our area’s front line against crime will cover personal safety, scams, fraud, distraction theft and burglary. Police will also discuss the best ways to identify and report suspicious activities and people.
