Police are investigating the brazen theft of a phone — from a woman”s hand – at Boca Center.

BOCA RATON, FL ( — Boca Raton Police are investigating the bizarre slapping-and dropping of  of a cell phone — right out of a woman”s hand — in the parking lot of Boca Center.

According to a police report, a woman was waiting for a parking space when a online casino man came up to her window, reached in the car and snatched the phone from her hand. He didn”t take it, however. The phone fell to the ground. The thug then fled in a silver Toyota Camry.

The woman was not injured.

It”s unclear what — if anything — was caught on surveillance cameras. 5050 Town Center Circle, the address of the incident — is the Shops at Boca Center, just off Military Trail.
