Damage, No Injuries In Early Boca Fire

BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Palm Beach County Fire Rescue remains on the scene this hour of a significant house fire in West Boca Raton.

From Fire Rescue:

At 827am Palm Beach County Fire Rescue units responded to reports of smoke from a roof on a home on the 9200 block of Gettysburg Rd in station 54’s area. First arriving crews reported that they had heavy smoke coming from the eaves of the home. Firefighters were advised that this was an unoccupied home. Crews made an aggressive fire attack, entering the attic of the structure to extinguish this fire. At this time the fire has been called out by command and crews have begun overhaul operations. There are no reported injuries from this fire and the cause will be under investigation.
