BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) — Blue Martini continues to be the “must see” location for anyone hoping to catch crime in progress in Boca Raton.

Often a key player in arrests and citations, the bar at Town Center Mall played front and center in the Friday arrest of 21-year-old Jose Diaz of Bridlewood Court in Boca.

Boca Raton Police report that Diaz dragged his girlfriend from the bar and through the parking lot outside Blue Martini, only to throw the young woman into the trunk of his car.

Police moved in and took Diaz down, only to find more than a kilo of marijuana in the trunk — with his girlfriend. Diaz was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on a charge of simple battery and drug possession with intent to sell.
